Tomonori Kouya is a professor in the Department of Science and Technology at Otemon Gakuin University (from April 2025; previously at Shizuoka Institute of Science and Technology until March 2024). His research interests include high-performance computing, particularly in multiple precision floating-point arithmetic supported by QD, MPFR/GMP, and GQD. Undergraduate and graduate students in his laboratory are developing various web applications related and unrelated to HPC, such as MPFR Graph (a multiple-precision function table tool).
